Danny Javier, a well-known singer, musician, composer, actor, television personality, and businessman died on October 31, 2022, at the age of 75. His relatives made the announcement. Danny’s daughter Justine said on Facebook:
“Our Pop never stopped fighting for what he loved, what he believed in, and what he was passionate about, both in life and in death.” He departed this world with his passion and willpower intact, and we know he wouldn’t have it any other way.”
According to Justine, Danny Javier died as a result of “complications after a protracted illness.” Danny’s brother George told ABS-CBN News that he died at about 5 p.m. due to a heart attack at the National Kidney and Transplant Institute.

Danny’s medical history is unclear, therefore information on his sickness and specifics about his hospitalization is unavailable. Danny’s buddy Jim Paredes also talked to ABS-CBN, revealing that he spent time with Danny before to his death. He was in critical condition at the time. Jim stated:
“I was able to pay him a visit and we spoke for 45 minutes.” He was improving until something occurred.”
Danny was hospitalized in 2011 after being diagnosed with pneumonia, renal failure, liver failure, hepatitis A, emphysema, congestive heart failure, and sepsis. He later advocated moringa as traditional and alternative medicine. According to Manila Standard, Danny said in February 2022 that he was suffering from congestive heart failure and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. He was also having peritoneal dialysis at the time.

Who was Danny Javier?
Daniel Morales Javier, born on August 6, 1947, was a member and main singer of The APO Hiking Society, a musical trio that also included Boboy Garrovillo and Jim Paredes. APO was dissolved in 2010. Javier created various songs throughout his career, including Pumpatak ang Ulan, Kaibigan, Kabilugan ng Buwan, Di Na Natuto, Awit ng Barkada, Lumang Tugtugin, Isang Dangkal, and others.
Danny then founded Pidro: Ang Saplot Ng Bayan, a T-shirt company. Danny designed a character named Pidro, which inspired the name. Pidro is a guy from the Philippines’ countryside who comes to Manila in pursuit of good fortune. Javier also endorsed Rodrigo Duterte’s campaign in the 2016 Philippine presidential election and Leni Robredo’s candidacy in the 2022 Philippine presidential election. Danny’s daughter Justine and other family members survive him.
